Why the funky name?

Assuming you find the blog name (6ton) funky and a feel a desperate urge to understand the origins of the name - 6ton would be read as "che"ton in Hindi which is close enough and yet cool enough, unique and available. The best I can trace the origin of the word is to dear friend Rahul who rechristened yours truly in early days of our friendship. Credits to iconarchive for the fav icon

The former name ztmd, though cool in its own right, or in my own mind :), was ridiculously difficult to remember, even for me.
